I am Estonian photographer Olev Mihkelmaa.

I have been into photographing since year 2000. I graduated from Communication School of Tallinn at 2004 where I studied photography. Even now I try to use every opportunity to improve myself. I offer different kind of photo services - from studio photo and family photo up to company photo. Since photo school I have been photographer in weddings, events, theatre, at birthdays and so on. In my work I use Canon photo equipment.

Through photography I understand the world better. When I see the moment through the camera it feels more special, the best of them I try to catch to the memory card. Photographing is my job but at the same time it gives me the chance to express myself and to be in the middle of the events. I try to find a little bit different angle of photographing and I try to catch the true colors of the objects. I find that it is very important to understand and feel what is in the snapshot whether it is nature, human or something else.

For the past years I have paid attention to Kihnu culture and nature. My first photo exhibition was also about Kihnu.

I am based in Tallinn, working in and out of Estonia.
